Domestic stocks are likely to open on a negative note on Tuesday, tracking weak global cues and Nifty futures on Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). Asian stocks fell in the early trade after technology bellwethers led a retreat in US stocks and more signs emerged of softening Chinese economic growth.
The Nifty futures on SGX were trading 10 points or 0.09 per cent lower at 11,334.

Tata Motors, Power Grid earnings today
Tata Motors, UPL, Power Grid, Vedanta, Ajanta Pharma and Bank of India are some of the companies that will report their quarterly earnings later in the day. Blue Dart, Dabur India, GSFC, Raymond, will also report their quarterly results during the day.

The food and grocery retailer had reported Rs 175 crore profit in the year-ago quarter. Total revenue for the quarter rose 26.7 per cent YoY to Rs 4,559 crore, the company said.
